External Relations Committee

We had our first ERC meeting last night, and it went really well. There was a better turnout than expected, and 2 MSA reps even showed up and contributed (Tim Wiggins, Happy Wong). Tim had some great ideas, and I am excited that he is going to work with us this year (especially after some of my remarks earlier. Don't worry, my foot is so far back in my mouth I'm gagging).
Here is a list of what we are thinking about doing:
-A weekly Daily piece on MSA (kinda like the Crime Notes)
- Continued participation with the Campus Neighbors (I'm going to the meeting on Monday at 4 pm- let me know if any of you would like to come with)
- A campuswide lobby day to Lansing
- A lobby day to D.C. for MSA Reps
- Something with the couch ban...we're not sure yet
- Transportation/Housing Issues

So that was about it...Rese and I are planning on meeting with Cynthia Wilbanks after we get back from break, and hopefully we can get this stuff done!
